Best Use of Technology to Support Marketing Efforts

Best Use of Technology to Support Marketing Efforts will be awarded to the law firm or corporate law department for the most innovative use of technology to support marketing and/or business development efforts. Examples of technology used could be, but are not limited to mobile sites, SharePoint initiatives, social media, relationship management using CRM or ERM, podcasts, blogs, webinars and other interactive multimedia platforms that are taking center stage over static brochure-like websites.

Awards will be presented on January 20, during the Red Carpet Reception at The Hildebrandt Institute's 18th Annual Marketing Partner Forum.  Click here for more information on the program.

Rules and Entry Criteria

  • Competition is open to law firms or corporate law departments that creatively use technology to support a marketing and/or business development program/initiative and demonstrate:
    • Technology: Is technology a main component in the marketing and/or business development program/initiative?
    • Creativity: Is the marketing and/or business development program/initiative a new approach to using technology? Is the use of technology inventive and the program/initiative cutting-edge and innovative?
    • Interactive: Does the program/initiative boast a more interactive experience as a result of the technology used?
    • Effectiveness: Does the program/initiative demonstrate proven results and/or success in achieving its goal, objective or purpose?
  • Examples of technology could be, but are not limited to:
    • Blogs
    • Mobile sites
    • Podcasts
    • SharePoint initiatives 
    • Social media
    • Video
    • Webinars
    • Other interactive multimedia platforms
  • Submit all written nomination & supporting materials online
  • Extended deadline for submissions: December 17, 2010
  • All nominations must be complete at time of submission and must include the following supporting documents:
    • Written nomination letter (not to exceed 500 words)
    • One letter of support
    • Relevant samples (limit 2) of marketing materials, screen shots, audio/video clips, etc.

Eligibility

  • Competition is open to law firms or corporate law departments involved in marketing or business development activities.
  • Nominee cannot be affiliated with The Hildebrandt Institute, any Thomson Reuters business or any Excellence in Legal Marketing Award judge's organization.
