Contact Manager

In today’s competitive marketplace, every interaction with clients, alumni, prospects or recruits needs to be effective. In order to get the most out of marketing and business development programs, firms must be able to see all activities that impact contacts.

Contact Manager (CRM) provides law firms with a centralized repository for all contacts and enables marketers and business developers to gain a holistic view of interactions with contacts and companies. Activities within Hubbard One solutions, including Proposal Generator and Experience Manager are automatically included in Contact Manager records, providing the most comprehensive and up-to-date view of firm-wide marketing efforts.

Integration with Microsoft® Outlook means lawyers can easily share contacts and contact information. Using built-in functionality, marketing and business development can identify and modify any potential duplicates or missing information. Contact Manager provides robust functionality for building and managing lists and events, including tools to generate invitations and record responses. Contact Manager integrates with other Thomson Reuters products, including the Elite® Financial and Practice Management system. Integration with other Hubbard One Business Development applications allows the firm to record all of the marketing and business development activities associated with a contact sophisticated web Interface

  • For Marketers and Business Developers, Contact Manager: 
    • Allows for customizations so that the interface can be tailored to match the firm’s unique brand/colors and configured by adding, removing, and/or reordering fields to meet unique requirements of each firm.
    • Empowers marketing professionals to easily update and manage marketing, mailing and event lists. Each list can have a unique member profile enabling firms to track and record important information, such as attendance, gift receipt, meal preferences, status, and much more. Marketing professionals can search for lists by list and member attributes and export results, making it easier for firm to support holiday mailings, firm events and other marketing campaigns.
    • Focuses on data quality. The data quality features allows marketers to approve, reject, or merge incoming contact changes from Outlook and/or other data sources. In addition, Contact Manager provides a sophisticated duplicate checking/reporting algorithm and a configurable rules engine to make it even easier for firms to manage a “clean” contacts database.
    • Simplifies the process of tracking information. The configuration features in Contact Manager allow firms to easily modify the company and contact records with custom fields. These fields can be used to track relevant relationship and company information, ultimately leveraged in the firm’s marketing lists and reports. Contact Manager supports custom report templates that can be displayed in Word, Excel, HTML or XML. For more sophisticated report layouts and formatting Contact Manager leverages the MS SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • For Lawyers and Timekeepers, Contact Manager:
    • Enables seamless integration with MS Outlook. Contact Manager becomes part of Outlook and utilizes native Outlook screens to display information to enrich the user experience. There is no separate application to learn. The system is simple to use, easy to understand and effective Complete Control over Shared Contacts
    • Gives complete control of the information in their respective Outlook applications.  The software empowers the fee-earner to make the necessary decisions for which contacts AND which information in each contact they wish to share. Automated Contact Updates. Attorneys have options for receiving updates to shared Outlook contact, which they can selectively review, and then accept or decline as they feel appropriate, at a time that fits in with their busy work schedule.     • Provides and easy-to-use interface that automatically runs a duplicate check when new contacts are added to Outlook and prompts lawyers to select an existing contact, keeping the firm’s authoritative contact database clean and duplicate free.
