It’s rare in any competition to receive a perfect ten. At this year’s WebAwards, Exponent received perfect tens in five of the seven categories. The categories considered for the awards included Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of Use. A company’s total score can equal up to 70. Exponent received 69.
“We are extremely excited to be recognized by the WebAwards. Our web design process was a very collaborative effort. We worked closely as a team and also with Hubbard One to tell our story in the most interactive way possible. We’re very proud of the work that was produced,” comments Dr. Angela Meyer, vice president of client services/business development from Exponent.
Of particular note by the judges was the excellent use of flash and multi-media. Exponent showcases its inventive work through an ingenious display of multimedia. Videos and photos sit within the text throughout the site and provide an engaging and informative look into the company. The Multimedia Archive section of the site houses additional videos on examples of the company’s investigations as well as materials developed for major news and cable channels.
Hilary Kaden, Senior Project Manager at Hubbard One noted, “Exponent had a vision of using their existing body of work to communicate their breadth of experience, but also how they approach projects in innovative ways. Tapping into their inventory of video, flash and other multi-media seemed a natural way to bring their work to life.”
Exponent’s website won Best Consulting Website beating out competitors like eLoyalty and Accenture. Click here to view the winning website.
