The expectation of greater value combined with the reality of fewer resources is pushing legal marketers to reevaluate their approach. The new role of the legal marketer requires a tactical and focused approach, improved resource management, and the capacity to produce increased value. They also need the ability to say ‘no’.
“We don’t worry as much about saying ‘no’ to bad things, as much as saying ‘yes’ to the really goods…which inherently limits how many less valuable things we do,” Fuqua explains.
